They have confidence that looks like clarity, force that feels like leadership and if the output is strong, the behavior is the cost. It’s been expected enough to sound true.

It’s not. 

Nice Form Dept. is built on the idea that you don’t have to be a problem to be effective. You don’t have to burn the room down to prove you belong in it. The whole “lone, misunderstood genius” thing is tired and honestly, it’s an excuse.

The alternative is very simple: work hard and be nice.
